A 42-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after two men were injured in an “altercation” that closed a road in Newport.
Gwent Police said officers were called to an address on Caerleon Road at about 19:00 BST on Sunday.
The force said the men were taken to hospital, but their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing and were discharged.
A 33-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of affray.
