A woman who took her father to die in Switzerland said she hoped she will have the same choice at home.
Sandra Holmes took her 93-year-old dad John Lenton to die at Dignitas in 2017.
In 2018, Ms Holmes, from Llanrwst, Conwy county, spoke of her family’s relief after finding out they would not face going to prison.
On Friday, MPs in Westminster voted in favour to legalise assisted dying in England and Wales.
“I would not want anyone to go through what Scott and I went through to get dad to Switzerland,” said Ms Holmes.
