Appeal after damage caused to artworks at Worksop Gallery

Police have issued an appeal after three artworks were damaged at a gallery in Nottinghamshire.

Nottinghamshire Police said it had been investigating after the damage was reported at Worksop’s Harley Gallery.

Officers said they had identified a man they wished to speak to who visited the gallery with two other people on 16 April.

PC Mark Holland said: “These were inexplicable acts that caused damage to priceless works of art.”
