Abingdon: Bus passengers and HGV driver hurt in crash

The service added that crews from Abingdon, Didcot and Kidlington all attended the incident.

Oxford Bus Company warned people to expect “major delays” as a result of the incident.

The company confirmed in a statement that one of its training vehicles had been involved in the collision.

“No passengers were on-board the vehicle, the lorry driver suffered minor injuries and our colleagues were not injured,” it said.

It said that it had launched an investigation and apologised for any inconvenience the collision may have caused.
