Police are investigating the death of a 79-year-old woman who died after being hit by a car.
Officers and paramedics attended the collision on the A465 near Abergavenny train station, Monmouthshire, following a call at about 17:00 GMT on Monday.
Pedestrian Jean Campbell, from Monmouthshire, died at the scene.
Gwent Police is appealing for pedestrians and drivers on the A465 around that time to get in contact.
