‘Loo enthusiast’ creates app Porcelain Report for rating toilets

A self-described “loo enthusiast” has created a website and app where people can rate their local toilets.

Yolanda Cuevas-Beck said she made Porcelain Report to flush out the best public bathrooms by allowing members of the community to score them across several factors.

“It is important to have a beautiful toilet,” she told the BBC. “Sometimes establishments forget that.

“My mum told me back in the day you can always tell what the kitchen’s like by going in the bathroom.”

She added: “If they care about the bathroom, then they’ll care about the kitchen.”
