Harrow crash leaves ones woman dead and others hurt

A pedestrian has been run over and killed and two others have been injured in a crash involving and bus and a car in north-west London.

The woman, in her 40s, died at the scene of the collision on Bessborough Road, Harrow, shortly before 21:20 GMT on Monday, the Met Police said.

Two other pedestrians were taken to hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not believed to be life threatening.

The driver of the car stopped at scene and was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He remains in custody.
