BBC reporter assesses destruction by Eaton fire in Altadena

At least five people have died as a result of the Eaton fire in Los Angeles County. The blaze has remained 0% contained, according to officials.

During a press conference, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass said that “historic winds” created the “perform storm.” In Los Angeles County, roughly 179,783 residents are under evacuation order and 200,000 residents are under evacuation warning.
