Helicopter and lifeboat search for person in Loch Linnhe

Searches are being made of Loch Linnhe near Fort William following reports of a person going into the water.

HM Coastguard was alerted at about 18:30 on Wednesday.

Inverness coastguard helicopter and RNLI Oban lifeboat were asked to assist in the search.

Coastguard rescue teams from Salen, Mallaig and Fort William along with Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team, police and firefighters have also been involved.
