An 87-year-old woman has died after a fire at a house in Oban.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) sent two fire engines to the property on Gallanach Road at about 21:30 on Monday.
The woman and her two pets were removed from the home by firefighters but she later died in hospital.
Police Scotland said the fire was not suspicious and a joint investigation between the force and the SFRS was ongoing.
