A tribute has been paid to a teenage girl who died from a single stab wound.
Scarlett Vickers was found dead at her home in Geneva Road, Darlington, County Durham, on Friday.
Su Gill, principal at Haughton Academy, where Scarlett was a pupil, said that the 14-year-old was “popular, respectful and polite” and that everyone was “saddened”.
Her parents Simon Vickers, 49, and Sarah Hall, 44, have been remanded in custody accused of her murder.
