Man dies after van fall from Peacehaven cliffs, Sussex Police say

A man has died after a van fell from a cliff edge in East Sussex, police say.

Sussex Police said the driver of the van was found dead after it was called to reports of the incident in Peacehaven at about 16:30 BST on Wednesday.

The driver is yet to be formally identified.

A police spokesperson said it was “investigating the full circumstances of this tragic incident”, and that the coroner’s office had been informed about the man’s death.
