A caravan has been “completely destroyed” in an arson attack in a County Down village.

The fire at a caravan park on the Ballywalter Road in Millisle was reported to police at about 02:00 GMT on Saturday.

No one was injured in the blaze, and it was extinguished before it could spread.

Police said it is believed the ignition was deliberate and have asked anyone with information or footage to contact them.
