BBCA man has died and another is in a critical condition after a shooting in Wolverhampton.
The pair were found in a car, after shots were fired in Leicester Street in Whitmore Reans at about 03:10 BST on Friday.
One man, in his 20s, died at the scene and the other, in his 30s, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, West Midlands Police said.
The force said it was asking people to avoid the area and some roads were closed.
West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) said a man in a critical condition received emergency treatment from police, before paramedics took over.
“Sadly, despite efforts, nothing could be done to save him, and he was confirmed deceased at the scene,” a spokesperson said.
