“He’s a powerful, technically gifted loose-head who brings a real physicality to the contact area and set-piece,” Wilson told the club website, external.

“We’re delighted to welcome him and confident he’ll make an impact here at Harlequins.”

Wenger will link up with his new team-mates from 6 October after the conclusion of the 2025 Rugby Championship.

“I’m looking forward to starting a new challenge and joining Harlequins,” said Wenger.

“I have heard great things about the club and its supporters from Rodrigo [Isgro]. I’m excited to meet my new team-mates and give my all for the club.”
