Dover: Woman charged with attempted murder after knife attack

A 47-year-old woman, from Dover, has been charged with attempted murder and threatening a person with an offensive weapon in a public place.

She has been remanded in custody to appear before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

The suspect was unknown to the victim, police added.

Det Ch Insp Bev Morrison previously said the incident was “horrific”.

“I would like to commend the courageous actions of those who bravely intervened, and who without hesitation and no thoughts for their own safety put themselves at risk,” he said.
