‘Vampire’ cat Archie looking for new home, say RSPCA in Suffolk

Branch cattery supervisor Donna Rich described Archie as a “beautiful boy” but one that “can be a little cheeky generally when he’s over-stimulated when having fuss”.

“He would benefit from attention in small doses and for owners to make sure they get consent from him first – usually in the form of a little head bump,” she said.

“We hope Archie will make a perfect companion as this little ‘vampurr’ is just dying to meet someone special who will be his biggest fang!”

Ms Rich added he would need someone who understood his limits and could provide plenty of play.

He would be best as the only cat in a home and would be ideally suited to owners with no dogs, and families with children who were teenagers or older.

Archie would also need to have access to the outside to be able to explore, his current carers said.
