Leeds: Young people work to free bus stuck in snow in Morley

A group of young people have been praised for rescuing a stricken bus after heavy snowfall in Leeds.

The pedestrians stepped in and helped the stuck vehicle on Queen Street, Morley, on Sunday afternoon.

Snow and ice has caused travel disruption across Yorkshire, with Leeds Bradford Airport’s runway closed for six hours on Sunday due to the weather.
