CrossFit helps Pembrokeshire woman curb Parkinson’s symptoms

Jules King experienced her first Parkinson’s symptom at 19 and, by 35, she was unable to care for herself and relied on a wheelchair.

Now she has won a bronze medal in a major athletics competition in America.

Ms King, 45, from Pembrokeshire, qualified for the Adaptive CrossFit Games, held in Texas, in the major neuromuscular category.

She said CrossFit has helped to curb her Parkinson’s symptoms.
