Man who died after being hit by car in Paisley is named

A 50-year-old man who died after he and a fellow pedestrian were hit by a car in Paisley has been named by police.

Stephen Craig, from Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire, died in hospital on 22 September.

He had been struck by a car on Hawkhead Road in Paisley four days earlier.

Mr Craig’s family have released a statement, saying: “Stephen was a devoted husband and father. His loss has been devastating for all who knew him.”
