Man deals drugs from pants in front of CCTV in Peterborough

A drug dealer was arrested after he was spotted on CCTV pulling Class A substances “from his pants”, police said.

The footage, posted online by Cambridgeshire Police, showed him dealing outside a property in Lincoln Road, Peterborough on 22 February 2022.

The force said he was “caught openly dishing out his goods in full view of CCTV cameras, including pulling a pot of Class A wraps from the front of his pants”.

Camera operators witnessed him going to and from a Volkswagen Polo parked nearby and he was later searched by officers, who found drugs worth about £5,000.

He was given a two-year suspended prison sentence at Cambridge Crown Court after admitting possession with intent to supply cocaine, crack cocaine and heroin.
