Man seriously injured in two-car crash in Aberdeenshire

A 50-year-old man is in serious condition in hospital following a two-car crash in Aberdeenshire.

He was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment. The other driver was uninjured.

Police were called to the scene on the Cross of Jackston to Fyvie near Rothienorman at about 14:10 on Saturday.

Police said inquiries are ongoing.
