Wellingborough hotel window fall: Oliver Marmon inquest opens

An inquest has been opened into the death of a man who fell from the third-floor window of a hotel last month.

Oliver Marmon, 33, was at the Hind Hotel in Wellingborough in Northamptonshire on 12 August and died at the scene.

Mr Marmon, from Rushden and originally from Bedfordshire, was due to marry former Union J singer Jaymi Hensley, external later this month.

At the inquest in Northampton, the assistant coroner for Northamptonshire, Hassan Shah, stated the provisional cause of death as “head injuries pending further tests” and adjourned the hearing until next year.
