Watch: Mermaiding feels like I have come home, says Tyler Turner

Tyler Turner calls mermaiding a “way of life” which combines her love for conservation, education and modelling.

The 30-year-old said she was “sick of being an adult and all she wanted was to be a mermaid”.

“We are marine conservationists, it’s within our soul to look after our environment.”

She said mermaiding saved her life and if she had not discovered it does not think she would be here because of her mental health.

“I feel at home – it feels like I have come home. It is just euphoric.”
