19 October 2023 – the date Nicola Sturgeon proposed for a second vote on Scottish independence.
But almost a decade on from the first referendum, a fresh ballot on the issue has yet to materialise.
With a Supreme Court ruling, a change in leader and an investigation into party finances, the SNP are going back to the drawing board in their bid to secure their independence dream.
