Retired buses have made a rare reappearance on Glasgow’s streets to celebrate 100 years serving the city.
A 20-strong convoy made its way from Glasgow Green, through the city centre to the Transport Museum on Sunday.
Leading the parade was the oldest bus, a Leyland Titan TD1, which was built in 1928 and served the city until May 1940.
After a stint as a Civilian Defence ambulance, and later a static caravan in Kent, it entered preservation in 1989.
The event was organised by the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust, based at Bridgeton Garage in Glasgow’s east end.
