Rwanda is planning to attack

As the conflict in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo is deepening, there are fear the war could spread to its neighbours.

A ceasefire was reached between the Rwanda-backed M23 rebel group and the Congolese army but it was short-lived.

Now the prospects of a spillover into neighbouring Burundi is raising concerns. Nomsa Maseko was in Bujumbura to interview the Burundian President Évariste Ndayishimiy.
