The focus of the Paralympic Games is often on the challenges faced by competitors just to get to the start line.

But what about spectators with disabilities? In a city as old as Paris, it can be difficult for fans who use wheelchairs or have a visual impairment to get the most out of their Paralympic experience.

BBC Sport Africa meets fans who have been sampling – and in some cases inventing – new technologies that are changing the way spectators watch live sport.
