Oven cleaning hack gets tough grease build up off window using kitchen staples

As time passes, it is inevitable for your oven window to get murky and covered in grime when you take into account how much baking, mixing, and mincing goes on in the kitchen. No stranger to this problem, Danielle Kimberly, who is a professional cake decorator, has shared how to remove grease build-up from your window.

In a social media upload, she shared how you can make our oven doors look more pristine and close to brand new.

How to clean your oven doors

Mix some water with ½ a cup of baking soda little by little until things are all smooth. Cover your oven window with the solution and let it soak for at least 20 minutes.

Add a little hot water/vinegar and use the scrubbing side of the sponge to clean. Wipe everything clean with a wet sponge. Dry everything and you’ll reveal a sparkly clean oven door.

While cleaning, be careful to not get baking soda everywhere and inside of your oven.
