Romesh Ranganathan works behind bakery counter

Comedian and presenter Romesh Ranganathan has tried his hand working behind the counter in a bakery.

A large queue formed in Dorking High Street in Surrey on Thursday morning to meet the award-winning comic before he moved on to another bakery in his home town of Crawley in West Sussex.

Mr Ranganathan, who is a vegan, had been in partnership with Coughlans Bakery to design a vegan treat, the Ranga Yum Yum.

The comedian, who became a co-owner of the bakery chain in 2024, said he was “absolutely buzzing” and it was “the partnership of the century”.
