After divorcing Priscilla, Elvis Presley’s main live-in girlfriend of almost 5 years at Graceland was Linda Thompson.
The former Miss Tennessee model, who was 15 years the King’s junior, often pays tribute to the star who died in 1977 on her Instagram.
Most recently she’s shared some little-seen couple photos with Elvis from the mid-seventies for fans to enjoy.
She captioned the post: “Throwback Thursday… Thank you, Keith Alverson and so many others for the photos that I treasure today!
“I can’t even imagine how many photos would exist if cell phones had been around back then! Grateful for these random snapshots of my life!” Alverson is the author of Strictly Elvis Vol 1 and 2.
Linda lived with Elvis at Graceland from 1972-76 before amicably breaking up around Christmas 1976.
She wanted a quieter life out of the celebrity spotlight but the pair remained friends until his death just eight months later.
The King would go on to date Ginger Alden who he was engaged to before he died.
