CCTV shows men moving stolen goods in Peterborough wheelie bins

The moment a group of men used wheelie bins to shift items stolen from a shipping container was captured on CCTV.

Footage showed them crossing Lincoln Road in Peterborough in the early hours of 18 August, after police said the bins had been loaded behind a nearby shop.

Luke Nash, 42, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to theft and burglary and was jailed for four months on 11 September at Huntingdon Magistrates’ Court.

Police said Jamie Graham, 43, of Mina Close in Peterborough, stole “a large quantity of fizzy drinks” in a wheelie bin. He admitted burglary and was jailed for four months at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on 22 August.

The other people involved in the incident have not been identified.
