Ben Brown: Hampshire wicketkeeper signs one-year extension

Hampshire wicketkeeper Ben Brown has signed a one-year contract extension keeping him at the club until the end of the 2025 season.

Brown, 35, has made 66 appearances since joining from Sussex in 2022, winning the club’s Red-Ball Batter of the Year award in his first season after making 969 runs at an average of 38.66.

“Ben is a fantastic player,” said Giles White, Hampshire’s director of cricket.

“He has high standards and a will to win that keeps driving the team forward.

“His ability behind the stumps, coupled with his batting, makes him an extremely valuable player.”
