Angela Rayner on her Conservative ‘scum’ comments

Labour’s deputy leader said she understood people being upset by her language when she called the Conservative government “scum” at a post-watershed conference event.

Angela Rayner described herself as “bombastic”

Asked if she would apologise, the MP said would be happy to have a conversation with the Prime Minister over his “completely abhorrent” sexist, racist and homophobic comments.
