Voices of those who lost loved ones to Covid

A man whose mother died with Covid-19 has said there remains unanswered questions about how the pandemic was handled.

From Tuesday, the UK Covid inquiry will be sitting in Belfast for the next three weeks.

It will hear opening statements and evidence from Covid-19 Bereaved Families and Disability Action.

Sean Scullion’s mum Nuala died in hospital with the virus in February 2021.

He said his family will never get over how his mother and the wider family were treated.

“Covid has a lot to answer for. The politicians, the hospitals, the government have a lot of questions that need to be answered,” he added.
