The moment Plaid Cymru wins the Caerphilly by-election

This is the moment Plaid Cymru’s Lindsay Whittle was declared the winner of the Caerphilly by-election.

He received 15,961 votes – more than 47% of the share – to win the race to be the constituency’s member of the Senedd.

Reform UK’s Llyr Powell came in second place, with 12,113 votes, while Labour, who previously held the seat, came third with 3,713 votes – just 11%.
